THE BCIN RECEIVES THE III EDITION OF BDN FASHION

The 3rt edition of BDN Fashion takes place On November 10th. It is organized by Badalona's Council, the BCIN (Negocis's International Badalona Centre) and ACTE, European Textile Collectivities Association. BDN Fashion includes the celebration of the Joaquim Mercader Prizes for young designers, where there is rewarded the creativity, the forefront, the commercial viability and the treatment of the materials. 25 creators take part in the present edition. They are pupils of the last course of fashion design or graduates of the two previous grades of schools of design. The venue of this event is the BCIN (Badalona Centre Internacional de Negocis), associated to the Barcelona Province Convention Bureau and one of the most important convention centers of Barcelona Province.

THE BARCELONA PROVINCE CONVENTION BUREAU IN THE COMMERCIAL MEETING OF BRAZIL

The Barcelona Province Convention Bureau took part last September 30 in the Commercial Meeting of Turespaña on the Brazilian market. This event is included in the Plan of meetings of Promotion and Commercialization 2011, programmed in the Spanish cities of Bilbao, Seville and Barcelona With this action, Turespaña wants to support the potential of these territories as destination for MICE tourism, taking advantage of the recent flights that have been established between the cities of Sao Paulo and Barcelona. 18 travel agencies proceeding from Brazil and specialized in luxury and MICE tourism, participated in the workshop of Barcelona. At present, Brazil is one of the main emergent markets with a high potential of economic growth, together with Russia, India and China.

THE BARCELONA PROVINCE CONVENTION BUREAU APPEARS IN THE FORUM BUSINESS TRAVEL

Last September 27, the Barcelona Province Convention Bureau presented the province of Barcelona as destination MICE during the fourth educational session that Forum Business Travel organized in Madrid, in Círculo de Bellas Artes. Forum Business Travel is an association of different groups of interest that manage company trips: travel managers, meeting planners, etc. Every two months, they organize training courses about matters of interest for the sector in Barcelona and Madrid and in every session a Convention Bureau exposes his destination. This time, the Barcelona Province Convention Bureau showed to the assistants its wide offer in venues, services and activities, as well as the differential features of the destination Barcelona province as for culture, tradition, character and natural landscape.

Two associates of BPCB collaborate in the tournament of Classification for Baseball Europa's 2012

24 players of the National Team of Baseball, as well as 7 members of the technical staff will be concentrated during the next week in the Hotel City of Castelldefels, member of the BPCB.

Other of our associates, Avant Grup, has been the selected company to transport all the teams in the competition.

The Spanish team, directed by Mauro Mazzotti, will face Ireland, Finland, Switzerland and Hungary in the qualifying stage for the European Championship 2012. From July 25 to July 30, all these teams will play in Montjuïc Stadium Carlos Pérez de Rozas, and just the first of the group will go to the European.

TecnoCampus Convention Center, new member of Barcelona Province Convention Bureau

TecnoCampus Convention Center, has been associated to Barcelona Province Convention Bureau as a new member.

TecnoCampus (www.tecnocampus.cat) is a science and innovation park in the town of Mataró, in the county of El Maresme.With its sights set on becoming a national and international project, it is the territory's main prospect for making a decisive contribution to the area's economic and social transformation

Just in front the Mediterranean Sea, it has a surface of 2.200 square meters distributed in different room. One of them is an auditorium with capacity for 323 people.

TecnoCampus is a member of the Technology Parks Network of Catalonia (XPCAT), the Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain (APTE) and the International Association of Science and Technology Parks (IASP), among others.

In June it hosted the Sales Convention of the multinational textile company DB Apparel.
